You may not have out-of-pocket costs if using insurance. You should contact your insurer to confirm coverage before scheduling a test. You may be responsible for the full price of the test ($149.99) if you do not meet the criteria established by your insurer.
For Uninsured patients:
The HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured program stopped accepting claims for uninsured patients on March 22, 2022. This means that if you are uninsured you are responsible to pay for the charges for the test(s) we provide to you.
We strive to keep our prices affordable for all our patients and appreciate all your support, feedback, and trust over the last two years.
We want you to know that we are working on a way to continue to reduce or eliminate testing costs to all our patients and will update any changes on this page.

A nasal test is a method the team at Getuwell uses to check patients for COVID-19.
COVID-19 is a disease caused by the novel coronavirus known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
Discovered in 2019, SARS-CoV-2 spreads easily from person to person and may cause serious respiratory infections in high-risk individuals, such as the elderly or people with preexisting health conditions.
The virus has infected millions of people throughout the world.
Your primary care provider or the team at Getuwell determines when you should have a nasal test for COVID-19. Early detection and isolation may help contain the virus.
You may benefit from a nasal test for COVID-19 if you’re experiencing symptoms such as:
The team may also recommend the nasal test if you’ve been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus.
Your provider at Getuwell reviews what you can expect during your nasal test at the time of your testing.
During the test, your provider inserts a swab into your nostril to your nasopharynx, which is the area between your nose and mouth. Your provider rubs and rolls the swab on the tissue to saturate it with mucus, and then withdraws the sample and places it in a secure specimen bag.
Getuwell uses the molecular-based rT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) to test your sample. The rT-PCR has the highest specificity for detecting COVID-19, which means you’re less likely to get a false negative.
Your provider at Getuwell gives you details about when to expect the results of your test. The nasal test offered at the coronavirus testing center isn’t a rapid test, so it may take 24-48 hours until you get your results.
The rapid antigen test is a rapid diagnostic test for COVID-19 that takes no longer than 15 minutes for results. This test detects whether or not you are currently infected with COVID-19. The rapid antigen test is a nasal swab.
The team provides specific guidelines for how to protect you and those you love while you wait for your test results.
The rapid antibody test is a rapid diagnostic test for COVID-19 antibodies that takes no longer than 15 minutes for results. This test detects whether you have antibodies for COVID-19 from a prior infection or the vaccine. The rapid antibody test is conducted via finger prick and comes with a $50 charge.
All airlines and destinations accept rt-PCR test results. Those results come in 24 hours or less. Some airlines and destinations accept rapid antigen tests. Those results take no longer than 15 minutes. Please check with your airline and destination about their entry requirements.
