Spirometry

What is Spirometry?

Spirometry is a lung function test that measures how much air you inhale, exhale, and how fast you breathe. It helps detect conditions like asthma and COPD.

  • Detects breathing issues early.
  • Tracks how well inhalers or medications are working.
  • Provides a baseline for long-term lung health.
  • Take a deep breath.
  • Exhale forcefully into the mouthpiece.
  • Repeat for accuracy.
  • Review results with your provider immediately.
  • Persistent cough, wheezing, or shortness of breath.
  • Known asthma or COPD.
  • Pre-surgical lung assessment.

Breathe easier with confidence — ask about spirometry during your visit.
