What is Mobile House Call Testing?
If you require private COVID-19 testing in the comfort of your own space, because you or a member of your staff are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, might have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, or have been referred to get tested by your doctor, please reach out to our team to schedule a private house call testing.
Once you’ve submitted a request for testing, and we’ve confirmed the details, Getuwell.org will come to your location and provide all the equipment and staff necessary to perform COVID-19 screening and testing. Results will then be available within 24 hours for PCR testing and 1-3 hours for Rapid antigen testing. The virus has infected millions of people throughout the world. Can I schedule testing for me and others in my company?
Yes—Please note: At this time we are only providing testing for a minimum of 15 people per company. If you or others in your company have exhibited COVID-19 symptoms, believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, and/or have been prescribed a COVID-19 test from your doctor, you are welcome to schedule a house call COVID-19 test. You may benefit from a nasal test for COVID-19 if someone from your group is experiencing symptoms such as:
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of taste or smell
- Body aches
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Fatigue
What happens during a nasal test?
Your provider at Getuwell reviews what you can expect during your nasal test at the time of your testing. The nasal test is an efficient test that takes only about five minutes to complete.
During the test, your provider inserts a swab into your nostril to your nasopharynx, which is the area between your nose and mouth. Your provider rubs and rolls the swab on the tissue to saturate it with mucus, and then withdraws the sample and places it in a secure specimen bag.
Getuwell uses the molecular-based rT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) to test your sample. The rT-PCR has the highest specificity for detecting COVID-19, which means you’re less likely to get a false negative.
How long does it take to get results from my nasal test?
